Halo Studios currently has no campaign or multiplayer Halo experience in development
Despite the upcoming release of Halo: Campaign Evolved, the iconic Xbox franchise could be reaching a dead end. According to insider Rebs Gaming, Halo Studios is going through a turbulent and uncertain period.
In fact, the studio’s entire initial roadmap has been revised. Initially, the American company planned to release three projects over three years, including Project Ekur, which was a multiplayer title. This was recently canceled. What’s more, a brand-new Halo campaign was also set to be released during this period.
Currently, Halo Studios is reportedly no longer developing any multiplayer or campaign-related projects. The teams are said to be working to quickly develop concepts for the next game so that production can begin. Furthermore, remakes of Halo 2 and Halo 3 remain uncertain.
Finally, DLC for Halo: Campaign Evolved is reportedly being considered.
