While Take-Two Interactive hasn’t released official figures for GTA VI yet, sales may already be very high. In a recent report, Sensor Tower revealed several statistics.

First, GTA VI has reportedly sold 4.38 million copies through pre-orders, which opened on June 25, 2026. The PS5 version accounts for 77% of sales (3.38 million units), compared to 23% for the XBOX Series version (1 million). Revenue is estimated to have reached $429 million, with $331 million coming from PlayStation and $98 million from XBOX.

Of course, since these figures (as of August 18, 2026) are not official, they should be taken with a grain of salt.
