Before looking ahead to GTA VI, Take-Two Interactive and Rockstar Games has reflected on the past during the publisher’s earnings call.

In addition to highlighting the "exceptional performance" of pre-orders for the upcoming Grand Theft Auto, Take-Two reported that it has sold more than 230 million copies of GTA V. This figure includes all platforms since the game’s initial launch in September 2013. However, sales remained flat compared to the previous quarter.

Meanwhile, Red Dead Redemption 2 sold approximately 2 million additional units, bringing its total sales to 87 million since October 2018. This makes it the third-biggest hit of all time.
