The hype is slowly starting to build around Summer Game Fest 2026. The event will kick off with a grand opening ceremony on June 5 at 10 p.m. BST / 5 p.m. ET / 2 p.m. PT.

In this regard, Geoff Keighley, the event’s producer and host, promises us a truly exciting 2026 edition. On X, he even refers to it as the "the biggest Summer Game Fest live show yet". This suggests major announcements are on the way.
