According to some reports, the release window for Forza Horizon 6 on PS5 is no longer scheduled for 2026.

Tom Warren, a well-known journalist at The Verge, stated on X that he no longer expects the Xbox racing game to release on PS5 this year. Other media outlets have also picked up on reports pointing in this direction.

While the release of this title on Sony’s console is still scheduled and has not been called into question as of yet, we have no information regarding a new release window.

Nevertheless, Xbox has made quite a few U-turns lately: the PS5 and Switch 2 logos were missing from certain trailers, a Halo: Campaign Evolved campaign was pulled at the last minute from a State of Play event, and it was confirmed that Gears of War: E-Day and Clockwork Revolution are now Xbox exclusives.

These recent developments might be cause for concern among PS5 owners, but Asha Sharma, CEO of Xbox, has pledged to honor previously announced multiplatform releases, including Forza Horizon 6.
