Even before it opens on August 26 (and runs through August 30), Gamescom 2026 has already broken its first record. It seems the German trade show will welcome a large number of exhibitors this year.

In 2025, 1,568 exhibitors from 72 different countries participated in the event. There were 1,462 in 2024. This increase was driven in part by the expansion of the show, which added 3,000 square meters of space dedicated to industry professionals.

Now, the organizers have announced that the 2026 edition will be the first to be fully booked in terms of exhibitors due to "growing demand." Starting in 2027, Gamescom will seek to expand further to meet this strong demand.

In the meantime, Gamescom 2026 will house major industry companies. These will include, for example, Xbox, Ubisoft, EA, Konami, Capcom, SEGA, Tencent, and Nintendo.
