Today we’re going to take a look at a title that could have been very promising. In 2010, Avalanche Studios (Just Cause, Mad Max) was working on an adaptation of Iron Man for the PS3 and XBOX 360. The game was never officially announced, but its existence was mentioned by Christofer Sundberg, the studio’s co-founder, in 2022.

Thus, this video game based on the Marvel superhero has been widely leaked this week through several videos. Eight clips ranging from 3 to nearly 23 minutes in length were published. Some of the clips were intended to be demos shown at E3.

This Iron Man game appeared to be quite far along, with combat and aerial sequences already playable. Various suits even appeared to be included. Of course, the whole thing remains fairly basic and lacks polish, since development was never completed. Environments could also be partially destroyed, a feature pretty reminiscent of the Just Cause series.
