While EA Sports FC 27 is set to be released on September 25, last year’s installment still seems to enjoy immense popularity. This was reported by Nate Miller, a YouTuber specializing in soccer games, on his channel.

In one of his videos, the content creator explained that he had spoken with a developer at EA. The developer reportedly told him that EA Sports FC 26 reached a peak of 9.8 million daily active players in late June/early July. Of course, the World Cup may have helped boost these numbers, though this is still very impressive for a game that will soon celebrate its first anniversary. It also demonstrates the immense success of the franchise with each new release.
