It all started with a simple post on the social media platform X in October 2025. A user shared a short clip of something he had coded: a centipede-like creature crawling across all sides of a wall.

Today, we learn from that same post—reposted by the own author—that he’s decided to turn it into a full-fledged game. And so, the upcoming game Nervemite is now available to add to your wishlist on Steam.

The plot is relatively simple and effective: you play as an aggressive alien species, infiltrating, evolving… and exterminating humanity. Nothing less!

Throughout our adventure as this bizarre creature, we’ll unlock a whole set of abilities, including the power to devour our prey to read their memories, in order to discover what happened to the other Nervemites.
