Cyan World is working on a new Myst
While the series may be a little less popular today, Myst left a lasting impression on an entire generation of gamers when it launched in 1993. Graphically impressive for its time, the first game exuded a striking sense of solitude and featured extremely well-crafted puzzles.
Now, Cyan Worlds has confirmed that a new Myst has entered the early stages of development. The studio also revealed a prototype for a game designed between 2024 and 2025. This was ultimately scrapped, but at the time was dubbed Project Anglerfish.
The new game, meanwhile, is tentatively titled Project Mudfish. That’s all we know for now.
