The PlayStation ports of Call of Duty: Black Ops and Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 are available on the PlayStation Store. Each game costs €39.99, or €19.99 through August 6, 2026, for PlayStation Plus subscribers.

Digital Foundry put these PS5/PS4 versions under the microscope and found that they run at 1080p and 60 fps on both Sony consoles. This is a significant advantage over Xbox players, who have to settle for 608p resolution derived from the Xbox 360 versions.

However, it’s a bit disappointing that neither FPS runs in 4K on the PS5. Additionally, no anti-aliasing options are available.
