Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will become a standalone game on July 7
Before Modern Warfare 4 launches on October 23, Activision will remove Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 from the main app dedicated to the franchise.
This installment will become a completely standalone game starting July 7, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. Paris time. At that time, owners of the game will need to re-download it in order to play. What’s more, Legacy content related to game modes will be removed to free up storage space.
