Bethesda warns that the new Fallout 4 update could break mods
Bethesda Game Studios has a troubling tendency to break its games when rolling out major updates. The upcoming patch for Fallout 4 will be no exception to this rule, but at least the American company has given players a heads-up.
This Tuesday, August 18, Fallout 4 will get a patch designed to improve Creations in general. Before downloading the patch, Bethesda advises players to log into the game and manually save the load order of their mods. By doing so, the Creations list can be downloaded all at once after the update is installed.
Therefore, users who haven’t played Fallout 4 in a while and have many mods installed are encouraged to perform this step as soon as possible. Skyrim will receive a similar patch soon.
