Bethesda Softworks has reportedly canceled a PvP shooter by MachineGames

Like all publishers and other studios, Bethesda Softworks has canceled several games in development. Today, a new project shelved by the company may have been brought to light.

Alex Jones, who was a producer at Bethesda Softworks before being laid off this month, stated on LinkedIn that he worked on a PvP FPS between October 2021 and May 2025.

A past Bethesda roadmap mentioned a certain Project Platinum in production at MachineGames, the creators of Wolfenstein. This title was inspired by Rainbow Six Siege and Counter-Strike.
