Bethesda confirms that the Switch 2 improvements for Oblivion Remastered are coming to all platforms

After being available on PS5, XBOX Series S|X, and PC for a while, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered launches today, August 11, on Switch 2. Of course, the RPG has been optimized for the occasion.

After releasing the launch trailer for the Nintendo Switch 2 version, Bethesda Game Studios confirmed that the optimizations included in the Switch 2 port will also be applied to the other versions.

We’ll get further details on this soon enough. It’s true that Oblivion Remastered still suffers from performance issues across all platforms.

We've heard your feedback asking for an additional patch for Oblivion Remastered. The Nintendo Switch 2 version of the game has a number of optimizations that we are looking into bringing to other platforms and we will share more when we are able.
