PS5 Pro players will be able to relaunch ARC Raiders this week with the best possible performance. Embark Studios has confirmed that an update for Sony’s console will be rolled out on Tuesday, April 28.

ARC Raiders will then support the enhanced version of PSSR to deliver a sharper, more stable image with less flickering. Also worth noting are improved rendering of moving objects and reduced ghosting effects on translucent elements.

Robert Kihl, the engine lead at Embark Studios, provided details on this update.

« The new, improved PSSR brings significant improvements to image quality, particularly in complex scenes with many small moving details. It’s impressive to see how effective it is across the wide variety of complex scenes found in ARC Raiders. »

These optimizations will be included in the game’s 1.26 update.
