Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 has yet to receive its Switch 2 version. Cold Iron Studios had originally scheduled the release for fall 2026.

Like 007 First Light, the third-person co-op shooter will require a bit more development time. Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 will launch natively on the Nintendo console in early 2027. This delay "will help the team deliver the best possible version for the hardware."

Finally, the studio will do extensive optimization work to ensure that Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 runs perfectly on Switch 2.
