Acer presents the Predator Atlas 8 Ahead of Its October 2026 Launch
Already the subject of several leaks, Acer’s Predator Atlas 8 has finally been confirmed. The portable console is expected in October 2026, though the manufacturer hasn’t revealed its price just yet.
This portable device features an 8-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels and a variable refresh rate ranging from 48 to 120 Hz. Brightness reaches 500 nits with 100% sRGB coverage. Additionally, the display is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus with a Corning DXC anti-glare coating.
Inside the device, we find an Intel Arc G3 Extreme and Arc B390 chip with 12 Xe3 cores. A second version will feature an Intel Arc G3 and Arc B370 configuration along with 10 Xe3 cores. Both will have 24 GB of LPDDR5X-7467 memory.
The Arc G3 Extreme model (810 g) will feature an 80 Wh battery, compared to a 60 Wh battery for the Arc G3 (770 g), with 65 W USB-C fast charging. As for other features, we’ll get a PCIe 4.0 SSD of up to 1 TB in the M.2 2280 form factor, as well as two Thunderbolt 4 ports, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth, a UHS-II microSD card reader, and a 3.5 mm audio jack.
