This is a feature that would undoubtedly have been a dream come true for millions of players during the PS2 era. Thanks to a mod, user Dryxio has managed to connect GTA III, GTA: Vice City, and GTA: San Andreas.

This is made posible by three portals: simply walk through them to arrive almost instantly in the desired game. The character’s appearance then changes depending on which game they enter. Note that these can be moved, and it’s possible to interact with NPCs or vehicles passing through them.

The three games share a single Direct3D device, and each runs as a separate instance. Here’s a demo video.
