Better late than never! Nintendo is getting ready to take on the Indian market next year. To do so, the Japanese company has decided to go with quite the surprising strategy.

Instead of bringing the Switch 2 directly in India, the company will offer the original Switch for 20,000 Indian rupees (about €179). The launch is expected to take place in February or March 2027, so almost 10 years after its release in the West.

Of course, the Switch 1 is already available in India through the gray market. Prices are close to what Nintendo will charge.
