NTE: Neverness to Everness clarifies its use of AI
Launched in late April, NTE: Neverness to Everness is a free-to-play action RPG that lets players explore a vast urban environment. The game features numerous missions and customization options.
While it’s currently delighting PS5, PC, and mobile players, the game from Perfect World Games has sparked a bit of controversy. Indeed, some users have noticed the presence of elements generated using artificial intelligence. The developers were quick to respond and will be making changes.
« Neverness to Everness is built on human creativity. The characters, stories, and world you experience are the work of artists, writers, and designers. AI-assisted tools were used only on a small number of background and environmental assets, not on the characters or stories that define this game.
We’re already reviewing and reworking the flagged assets: "Clear Skies in Summer" and "Pink Paws Heist". »
