Although Krafton had remained vague this week when mentioning a 2026 release for the game, Subnautica 2 will truly launch next month.

The South Korean publisher has confirmed the Early Access launch on PC and Xbox Series for May 14, 2026, at 5 p.m. Paris time. The game will be available for $29.99 on various online stores and will be added directly to Xbox Game Pass.
