EA uses AI for 85% of its QA testing work

Artificial intelligence is now widely adopted by nearly all major video game publishers. Electronic Arts is among the leaders in this field, and its CEO, Andrew Wilson, has made that clear!

During an interview with Liz Claman of Fox Business Network, Wilson noted that AI is widely used in QA testing. He also refutes the notion that this technology leads to job losses.

« I recently reviewed data showing that nearly 85% of our quality assurance work is now performed using machine learning or artificial intelligence algorithms. Yet our company is hiring more quality assurance specialists than ever before. »

In this context, AI is used for tasks deemed basic and repetitive, and has almost always led to an increase in headcount.
