Unveiled in November 2025, the Steam Machine subsequently disappeared from the radar. However, the home console designed by Valve is still set to launch in the first half of 2026.

Fortunately, the American company had some good news to share alongside the official announcement of the Steam Controller’s arrival on May 4. In an interview with IGN, Pierre-Loup Griffais stated that the launch is imminent. He also promised that more information will be released very soon.

Of course, the price of the Steam Machine is still unknown. Valve is likely waiting until the last minute due to memory shortages. As a result, the manufacturer could decide to sell the device at a loss or opt for a very high price tag of around $1,000.
