This April 23, we’ll get a first look Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag Resynced ahead of its release on July 9. With this remake of the franchise’s fourth installment, Ubisoft hopes to delight fans and welcome newcomers.

What’s more, the French publisher could rework one or more other games in the series in the future. At least that’s what Insider Gaming claims in a recent article. The site specifies that at least another Assassin’s Creed title will receive a remake. Other similar projects could be greenlit if Black Flag Resynced proves to be a commercial success.

Given Ubisoft’s track record, it’s essential not get too hyped, as it could all end up being cancelled all too quickly. Fans of Prince of Persia know this too well…
