While all eyes are inevitably on GTA VI, Take-Two Interactive may have greenlit several projects for the Mafia IP. These rumors come from the YouTube channel MafiaGameVideos.

According to the reports, a remake of Mafia 2 and a sequel to Mafia: The Old Country are both currently in development. Regarding the first project, developers from Hangar 13 have reportedly been spotted recording the sounds of weapons featured in the second game.

As for The Old Country, it was generally well-received by fans and critics alike. Strauss Zelnick, CEO of Take-Two, praised the game’s financial success. Additionally, actress Carina Conti, who plays Isabella Torrisi in the game, stated that a new title had been greenlit by the publisher.

Of course, nothing has been confirmed yet.
