Super Mario Galaxy: The Movie has grossed $372.5 million in five days of release across 80 markets worldwide. It’s a great result, that much is clear, but one that falls slightly short of the first feature film’s score.

In fact, during its first five days, Super Mario Bros. The Movie had reached $377 million. Regardless, this second installment has had the best opening of 2026.
