An indie developer is currently creating a horror game based on thalassophobia, or the fear of deep water. The game involves diving into an abyss at the bottom of the ocean in a small submarine to discover the remains of a lost civilization that has yet to go extinct.

There’s Nothing Down There has just been revealed via a trailer posted on the game’s YouTube channel. It’s coming to PC on June 4, 2026. Check it out on the video below.
