Super Mario Galaxy: The Movie is off to a strong opening after all, and has a very high user score
The new Super Mario Galaxy movie was heavily panned by the press, getting a low score of 41% on the review aggregation site Rotten Tomatoes, as well as a 37/100 on Metacritic.
But now, audience opinion has tipped the scales, and for good reason: it currently holds a 91% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. This result is a far cry from the press’s assessment.
Furthermore, it turns out the film has had an even stronger opening than the first installment, which was already a huge hit. According to Deadline, it’s even the best opening of all time for a Wednesday in April. We’ll see how it goes from now on… Stay tuned!
