Heroes of Might & Magic: Olden Era will launch in early access on April 30, nearly two years after its initial announcement. This new installment, developed by Unfrozen and published by Hooded Horse, serves as a prequel to the original 1995 game and marks the return of a cult classic franchise after more than a decade of absence.

At the early access launch, the game will already offer a wealth of content, including 6 playable factions, the first act of the campaign, as well as several single-player and multiplayer modes. Players will be able to enjoy various modes such as Classic, Single Hero, and Arena, featuring matchmaking, leaderboards, and online or local matches.

The game will also feature standalone scenarios, puzzle-style challenges, and a random map generator to ensure high replayability. A preliminary version of the map editor will also be available, allowing players to create their own adventures.

A free demo is already available on Steam, offering a first look at the gameplay and new features ahead of the official release.
