Blizzard put an end to an extremely poorly kept secret during BlizzCon 2026. We got a completely new STARCRAFT game announced at the event.

It’s a first-person shooter set in an open world. A cinematic trailer was also released to showcase the game’s universe and narrative context.

Fans will have to be patient, as this STARCRAFT title won’t be released until 2030. It will launch on PC and Xbox consoles. Here’s the description provided by the studio.

"The sons and daughters of the Dominion answered the call when mankind needed them most. Their courage held the line. Their sacrifice bought us another day. Now the call comes to you. Carry their strength forward. No matter the cost."

What’s more, the FPS is led by Dan Hay, a former head of the Far Cry franchise.
