The Coalition’s game is among the titles whose list of virtual achievements was leaked following the recent Steam leak. Gears of War: E-Day, set to release on October 6, 2026, could mark a major first for the XBOX ecosystem.

Last month, Asha Sharma, the head of Xbox, confirmed that her teams were working on adding the equivalent of the platinum trophy to titles available on the brand’s platforms. On PlayStation, when a player unlocks all the trophies in a game, they get the so coveted Platinum trophy as the ultimate reward.

Thanks to the Steam leak, we’ve noticed an achievement called The Lucky Ones Died on E-Day for Gears of War: E-Day. Its description indicates that it’s earned by collecting all other achievements. Additionally, it doesn’t grant any Gamerscore points.

Of course, other games will be released before The Coalition’s title. So it’s not certain that this will be the first game to feature this new feature.
