IKEA has released a mod that adds a Kallax shelf companion in Skyrim
Here’s a touch of whimsy and absurdity to provide a breath of fresh air in this ever-changing video game industry. Following its partnership with Xbox, IKEA has decided to make a direct appearance in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim with a mod that’s now available for download on the Creations tab.
It adds a quest, new loot, and most notably, "a sentient Kallax shelving unit." Actor Matt Berry, known for What We Do in the Shadows and Toast of London, provided the voice for this famous Kallax shelving unit.
"When you inevitably become encumbered, you shall be sent to a long abandoned Dwemer emporium. There, you will embark on a quest to unravel the origins of a mysterious master. As you progress the Dragonborn will be pitted against Tamriel’s ultimate adversary – clutter!
During your adventure, build your very own KALLAX STORAGEBORN. With unfathomable storage capacity, the ability to collect loot, tidy up your homestead and be summoned with a new Thu’um, even when not a companion, KALLAX will change your clutter management forever."
Thus, the Kallax will be able to store items and assist our hero during his quest across Skyrim.
