Following a Direct dedicated to the 40th anniversary of the The Legend of Zelda franchise, a more traditional Nintendo Direct will take place today. Without further ado, here’s everything you need to know to watch this event.

The Nintendo Direct will air this Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. BST / 7 a.m. PT / 10 a.m. ET on YouTube. It will last approximately 45 minutes. Viewers will get a glimpse of Switch 2 games expected later this year.

Immediately following this Direct, a Nintendo Treehouse will air on YouTube starting at 3:45 p.m. BST / 7:45 a.m. PT / 10:45 a.m. ET. This 110-minute presentation will showcase gameplay for titles revealed during the Nintendo Direct.
