Following the excellent remake of Persona 3, Atlus is keeping the momentum going with Persona 4 Revival. This new remake is set to launch on February 18, 2027, on consoles and PC. What’s more, the Japanese company isn’t likely to stop there!

In an interview with RPS, Kazuhisa Wada, the franchise’s producer, explained that his team has "a duty" to ensure that its older titles remain accessible today. It is with this in mind that these remakes were created, and more will follow. Wada specifically noted that "Persona 1 and 2 are likely among the games we’ll eventually revisit."

Released in September 1996 and June 1999, respectively, the first two Persona games are actually relatively unknown. The series really began to gain popularity in the Western market thanks to Persona 3. Thus, a whole new audience could discover these games.
