Final Fantasy Resonance isn’t scheduled for release until October 22. So far, there has only been a demo version available for about a week. However, that’s all it took for modders to get to work and create a mod that brings back into the game all the characters not featured in this installment.

As a reminder, Final Fantasy Resonance is a reconstruction of the older mobile game Final Fantasy Brave Exvius, which has since been discontinued. It is not a remake or even a remaster: it was merely used as a foundation, particularly its story, to create a new, original project.

Currently, the FFR Vision Studio mod allows players to bring nearly 1,300 Brave Exvius units into the Resonance demo, including Ariana Grande and characters like 2B from NieR: Automata. Still in development, a roadmap has even been released.
