Despite the recent release of Halo: Campaign Evolved, the buzz surrounding the franchise shows no signs of slowing down. Insider Reb’s Gaming has once again shared several leaks regarding the series. Of course, the following should be taken with a grain of salt.

According to him, a new multiplayer project is currently in pre-approval as of this writing. This title was reportedly discovered via a developer’s online portfolio. Additionally, during a meeting at Halo Studios, it was reportedly stated that a major announcement will be made at Halo Fest. The event will take place from December 11 to 13, 2026.

As for the Halo 2 Remake, the project is reportedly still on the agenda. Finally, the next truly original Halo game isn’t expected to be released for several years.
