Gamescom 2026 was a resounding success in terms of attendance. Thanks to the media exposure provided by the German trade show, certain games were in the news for an entire week.
Rhys Elliott of Alinea Analytics published the ranking of the most wishlisted titles on Steam from August 23 to 30, the period covering the German trade show. Unsurprisingly, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt — Songs of the Past is as the clear winner with 451,000 additions to Steam wishlists, followed by Warlock: Dungeons & Dragons (379,000) and Ananta (302,000).
