Microsoft has completely overhauled its gaming strategy. XBOX is now partnering with brands from various sectors (IKEA, McDonald’s) and is relying almost exclusively on its biggest franchises. The American company also intends to fully commit to other forms of entertainment.

According to puck.news, XBOX is reportedly approaching Hollywood studios to produce adaptations of franchises such as Halo, Warcraft, and The Elder Scrolls. It seems the success of the Fallout TV series was a key factor in this decision.

For now, Paramount, Netflix, and Universal are reportedly interested. It remains to be seen whether these film or TV adaptations will actually come to fruition.
