Zoopunk gets an extended gameplay trailer

Zoopunk has managed to get some attention after a trailer at Gamescom 2026. In fact, the last time we saw a group of talking animals embarking on adventures of this kind was in Madagascar in 2005 or perhaps Kung Fu Panda (2008) on various consoles.

Getting back to the topic at hand, Zoopunk looks set to be slightly more violent and is set in a less colorful world. Ti Games has posted an extended 5-minute gameplay trailer for the game on its YouTube channel.

The trailer showcases very dynamic gameplay with a fairly streamlined interface. The small group of animals engages in hand-to-hand combat in what appear to be semi-open areas, with some verticality.

The melee combos are fast and precise, or at least that’s the case for the more agile animals in our group. The larger ones stick to slightly clunkier gameplay, but with devastating combos. It’s also possible to switch between characters in real time, right in the middle of combat.

With these elements, we might very well be looking at a game inspired by Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, which wouldn’t be a bad thing, given how well that game was executed.

As a reminder, Zoopunk is scheduled for release on PC, PS5, and XBOX Series, but it doesn’t have a release window yet.
