NVIDIA DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction is here, and there are several new features coming

To kick off Gamescom 2026 in style, NVIDIA hosted its own event to showcase several major new features. The latest NVIDIA On was packed with announcements.

As expected, DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction is now available to deliver superior image quality in games that use ray tracing and path tracing. The image benefits from AI-assisted denoising for even higher-quality rendering. Games such as 007 First Light, Alan Wake 2, and Control Resonant will benefit from this.

NVIDIA has also confirmed the rollout of new tools for RTX Remix, and DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction will even be integrated into it.

In addition, the NVIDIA Ace personal assistant is finally coming out. It offers tips, strategies, and answers players’ questions about any game. Note that it requires between 1 and 3 GB of VRAM to function properly on a system.

Also, the popular NVIDIA app will be updated to include G-SYNC Pulsar, support for Resizable Window, and the ability to switch to DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction very quickly. Add to that gaming bundles featuring Control Resonant and RTX 5070 (and higher) graphics cards in both laptop and desktop versions starting this fall.

Finally, GeForce Now will feature DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution, Dynamic Frame Generation, and Ray Reconstruction. The cloud gaming service will expand its compatibility to more devices later this year.
