Among its announcements at Gamescom 2026, CD Projekt RED officially confirmed the release of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt — Remastered on Battle.net on September 29. This will mark the first time the action-RPG will be available in Blizzard’s store.

In fact, the Polish studio also confirmed a long-term partnership with the company behind World of Warcraft, Diablo, and Overwatch.

Radek Grabowski, Head of Communications at CD Projekt RED, shared a few words.

"Both CD PROJEKT RED and Blizzard create worlds that allow players to immerse themselves in captivating adventures for hundreds of hours. Both studios have always had the ambition to raise the bar — for themselves and, in doing so, for the video game industry. Their worlds and characters have inspired not only other game developers, but also musicians, filmmakers, cosplayers, and, of course, countless players."

All of this marks just the beginning of a long partnership between the two companies.
