Back in December 2024, Capcom made official Okami 2. This sequel is being developed by Clovers, a new studio led by Hideki Kamiya, the director of the first game and several major titles such as Resident Evil 2, Devil May Cry, and Bayonetta.

This week, we’ve learned that Clovers has made several major hires for its music composition department. The Japanese company has recruited three top-tier talents.

First, Hiroshi Yamaguchi, who composed the music for Okami, Bayonetta 2, Bayonetta 3, and Star Fox Zero, has joined Clovers. He is joined by Hitomi Kurokawa, who worked on Bayonetta and The Wonderful 101. Finally, Aoba Nakanishi has also joined the team after working on Bayonetta Origins as the lead composer.
