There appears to be a lot of anticipation surrounding The Duskbloods. The network test for the Switch 2 exclusive wrapped up this on Monday and is now set to launch before the year ends.

In an interview with Famitsu, Yasuhiro Kitao, a producer at FromSoftware, revealed that the number of applicants wanting to participate in the highly anticipated test was higher than for Elden Ring Nightreign.

"We were very surprised to find that the number of applicants for the The Duskbloods network test was higher than that for Elden Ring Nightreign.

The Nintendo Switch 2 is, of course, a new console, and in terms of the number of users… well… for the Nightreign beta, I get the impression that many people initially overlooked it because it was a multiplayer title, but then played it after its release and really enjoyed it.

So I think we received applications from many people who thought, “Maybe this time, I’ll try to participate in the network test."

The exact release date for The Duskbloods is still unknown.
