Deep Silver and 4A Games have detailed the roadmap for upcoming announcements for Metro 2039. The schedule through the end of August will be very busy for the post-apocalyptic single-player FPS, which is expected in February 2027.

Starting this Monday, August 24, a brand-new trailer will be released, accompanied by a global announcement. The exact release date may be revealed at that time. The following day, Metro 2039 will take the stage at Gamescom’s Opening Night Live with another trailer.

Then, starting Wednesday, August 26, gaming media and content creators will share their first impressions. Finally, through August 30, Metro 2039 will be playable at Gamescom, with updates released daily.
