Today’s a big day for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chernobyl fans on PS5, Xbox Series, and PC. There are two big updates rolling out this Thursday, August 20.

First up is Update 2.0, which brings graphical improvements, new weapons, customizable difficulty, and a new weather effect. This patch is available as a free download on all platforms.

There’s also the Cost of Hope expansion, featuring a new story, brand-new locations, and much more. The DLC costs €29.99. GSC Game World has also released a launch trailer.
