The success of Palworld is well established. After achieving a record-breaking launch on Steam during Early Access, the game has sold 30 million copies. Pocketpair has received a huge number of collaboration proposals for its game, most of which end up being rejected:

"A lot of people have pitched their games to us, but obviously, we don’t want to just throw random stuff into the game."

In addition to this statement, Buckley, editorial director at Pocketpair, noted that he would be quite enthusiastic about collaborations with games like Fortnite, No Man’s Sky, or ARK. Needless to say, these words quickly reached the ears of one of the parties involved.

Sean Murray, founder of HelloGames—the studio behind No Man’s Sky—is quite active on X and never fails to react to anything related to his game, whether directly or indirectly. Once again, he responded to this news by directly tagging Buckley.

Since then, the two have been constantly exchanging public messages on social media, trading sweet nothings that border on romance. These exchanges suggest that they share a very close bond.

While the No Man’s Sky and Palworld communities already seem thrilled at the prospect of a collaboration between these two games, and aren’t shy about letting everyone know it, it remains to be seen whether the studios will follow through with the initiative.
