Rockstar Games has fallen victim to a new leak this Tuesday, August 18, 2026. Several clips from GTA VI have been posted online, and Rockstar is now working to take down the videos that have been posted.

This massive leak appears to have been carried out by CYBERLEEK. It may be a single individual who is now threatening video game publishers that violate certain rules. The hacker opposes digital pre-orders, "fake downloadable content for single-player mode," and elements that detract from the single-player experience, and their goal is to punish companies that engage in these practices.

Here is the full statement released by CYBERLEEK.

"CYBERLEEK has been patience. That patience is over. What follows are three commandments: if CYBERLEEK targets a publisher, it is because that publisher broke one. CYBERLEEK will not stop until they issue a public statement and apology with a concrete commitment to be better. Words are not enough; restitution is mandatory."

The person in question also hinted that Rockstar won’t be the only company targeted.

"These three commandments are the floor—not the ceiling—of what is acceptable. If publishers violate them, they will be targeted. CYBERLEEK will continue to disrupt their operations until they issue a public statement and apology with a concrete commitment to fix the harm they caused. No private negotiations. No quiet settlements. The public sees it, or the leeks do not stop. Publishers should beware. If CYBERLEEK can reach Rockstar, no one is safe. This is a message to all big corpo: behave properly, or be the next target.

This is CYBERLEEK’s edict, and it is non-negotiable."
