Ark: Survival Evolved came out on Switch back in November 2018. The version was heavily criticized at launch for its poor visual quality. Fortunately, the game’s graphics have been improved through several patches.

Unfortunately, Studio Wildcard has decided to discontinue support for the game on the Nintendo console, as the official servers will shut down on August 31, 2026. The single-player mode and unofficial servers will remain accessible after that date.

It’s worth noting that Ark: Survival Evolved will not be removed from the eShop either.
