Marvel’s Wolverine releases exclusively on PS5 in just one month. The game from Insomniac Games promises to be spectacular, with its nonstop action and a host of iconic characters from the Marvel universe.

Given the relatively large cast, some players might have wondered if Logan would actually be the only playable hero. In an interview with GamesRadar, project lead Jess Reiner-Reed and technical director Mike Fitzgerald answered the question directly.

They made it clear that Wolverine is the only playable character. In Marvel’s Spider-Man, players could take on the roles of Mary Jane Watson or Miles Morales during specific sequences. This approach will likely not be carried over to Marvel’s Wolverine.

Of course, the developers could also be keeping a surprise up their sleeves…
